For my final project of the winter quarter, I made my own version of the Cyanotype. Normally a Cyanotype would be a contact print of an object onto paper that has been sensitized to light. Unfortunately, the objects that I wanted to make needed to have detail throughout the image so I could not just settle for an outline like would be the traditional look. To accomplish this, I scanned the slices of fruit and then processed them through Photoshop to get the desired look. There is no single way to make a digital Cyanotype, I go through my process below, in case people want a starting point.
